Our Story
Helping Waukesha County Children Since 1949
Since 1949, the Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County has been promoting and coordinating the giving to families in need during the Christmas season. We provide a clearinghouse that matches families with area groups, families, businesses, and individuals who wish to help people less fortunate in our community. In 2019, we coordinated giving to more than 1,900 families and nearly 4,300 children in Waukesha County.

Angel Awards
2025 Angel Award Winners
The Christmas Clearing Council established the annual Angel Awards in 2006 to recognize those in our community who, through special acts of generosity, further the CCC mission of helping families celebrate a more joyful Christmas. We are proud to announce the 2025 recipients.
Youth Award
St. Dominic Catholic School Student Council
The students in the St. Dominic's Student Council have been generously involved in CCC for 25 years. Since 2000, they have sponsored more than 200 children - shopping, wrapping and delivering gifts to kids whose families were having a tough time. In 2018 and 2020, the students also donated gift cards, which are valued gifts for our teen clients.

Community Group Award
St. Mark's Lutheran Church Quilters
This talented, dedicated and generous group of quilters has been donating their creations to our annual Toy Shop for nearly two decades. Every one of these beautiful works of art has found a home with one of our client families.

Business Award
Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly Hartland and Oconomowoc
For the past eight years, Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly-Hartland/Oconomowoc has designated Christmas Clearing Council as its charity of the month each November. This designation has made it convenient for store patrons to donate to CCC or to simply "round up" the cost of their purchases. This program has donated nearly $25,000 to CCC.
Individual Award
Bob Hafner
Bob manages several toy collection sites each season. In addition, he helps set up and dismantle our Toy Shop, clean up the gym, load our rental truck with supplies and then unload them at our warehouse. His boundless energy and "can do" attitude is grately appreciated.
